Sooo Sweet! {St. Louis Newborn Photographer}

This little fella was as sweet as they come however he was also determined to be AWAKE! You can't tell from the pictures because we worked hard to get him nice and sleepy. (And we did!)

We ended up with some really sweet shots of him that I just adore and I know that his mommy will too.

Simply Glowing! {St. Louis Maternity photographer}

This beautiful mommy to be was simply glowing!

We did her photo session on Wednesday and she was scheduled to have the baby on Saturday, talk about down to the wire!

We spoke many times over the phone to collaborate and share ideas with one another WHICH I LOVE....it really helps to make the vision come together (and it did!)

I can't wait to meet their new addition next week, we have some fun things in store for that session as well.

Baby it's cold outside! {St. Louis newborn photographer}

...but it's toasty warm in my studio! This little gal traveled from Illinois (thanks to Mom and Grandma) to visit me just before Christmas. She was exactly one month old which is a touch older than I prefer for my newborn sessions however she was still SO tiny and sleepy. It worked out great,we were able to get a variety of shots and she was an absolute pleasure to work with.

I must say...I had the pleasure of working with SOOO many wonderful families this year that I couldn't even begin to include them all so I came up with a holiday slideshow that shows off a few (ok more than a few) of the newest miracles of 2009. This little guy made his entrance into the world 5 weeks early, talk about throwing new parents for a loop! Because he was so early, we waited a few weeks to do his photo session so that he could plump up a bit. He did great and I love how these turned out.

The show must go on!

As I mentioned in my last post, the weather has been less than cooperative this season and this little guy had to be rescheduled a couple of times due to the rainy weather.

Finally, mom and I decided that he was just toooo cute at this age to miss it and we did the session inside. He was a ham and did not disappoint.

FABULOUS Fall! {St. Louis Family photographer}

The weather this fall has not been very accommodating. Rain, Rain, Rain. Luckily, my clients are great to work with. We head out to the park and take advantage of the nice days when we can. Last weekend, I had 10 sessions in the park!

I have SO many favorites from my fall sessions and I have not even finished proofing them all.

I am behind in updating the BLOG so I am going to share some of my favorites so far...with more to come. Thanks for looking!

The REAL meaning of "Birthday Suit"!!

This little guy was SO cute and completely OK with being in his "Birthday Suit"!

When his mommy told me about her idea for his first birthday pics, I loved it and just hoped that we could pull it off. Oh yeah, we did!

I love it when the true essence of the child shines through. Whether it be a a laugh that comes from the belly, a giggle, chubby cheeks (top or bottom:) a curious stare or even a fishface. If this is what defines the moment then we should capture it! We did;)
